Been a while since I updated, yes? Never fear, my friends (both of you) for it is summer and I'm hopefully getting a highspeed modem one of these days, so I can be around more often.
How happy am I that school is out? I've been oversleeping this past week far too much. And watching the musical Godspell over and over. Which is odd, because I'm not religious but the music is MAGICAL. Ahhh... I went out and bought the soundtrack on record (2 versions in fact!) and I might listen to it while painting.

Painting! Art! Oh yes, the reason I'm on this site. Well, I've been working my ass off on an AIDS awareness painting for the past two months or so. And by that I mean picking up a brush for an hour every week I'm trying, but I've lost some interest in it. I have another one on the go, a Queenie one in acrylic. It's very small, won't take very long. But as for art, it's taking back seat to my musical conquests at the moment I'm afraid. Funny how that used to be exactly the opposite way around.

I'm going to get my G1 sometime around Monday next week. Maybe not such a great idea to let me on the road, especially from what is seen of me screaming across the lawn on my tractor. We'll see, eh?

We had to tear apart my blue special Brimi a few days ago, his plug input thingy wasn't making the amp sound pretty. (I'm such an electrician!) So it was quite scary for a few moments there, but he's back together and sounding better than ever. *epic quitar wail NEEEOWWDAAWOWWWW*

What else has happened? Oh yes, RIP Farah Fawcett and Michael Jackson. I feel sort of sorry for Farah, who would have had such more of a deal made of her death if the King of Pop didn't kick it at the same time. I sound so nice, don't I? I liked MJ, never really believed he was an evil pedophile, just kind of messed in the head from a hard childhood. I remember watching the Jackson 5 on re-runs of the Ed Sullivan Show. Good times.
